Sculpture

The 3-dimensional world is the reality we live in. That fact makes sculptural work even more real and visceral. A sculpture quickly becomes an object begging to be interacted with. They begged to be touched, textures screaming to be discovered. Whenever I see a sculpture, I want to know its purpose, its meaning, why does it occupy the same space as me? I thoroughly enjoy exploring this feeling in my own work, and creating pieces that my viewers want to feel, that drives their curiosity and leaves them also exploring its reason for being.
